3 Years of Data Transformation: Scalable Analytics Suite for a Global Logistics Company
A global logistics provider had its operational and financial data spread across separate systems, which made reporting slow and largely manual. Over a three year partnership we built a single Power BI Reporting Portal that brings all of it together.
The portal holds more than 70 reports covering business performance, day to day operations, and accounting. Teams across the business now work from one shared set of numbers instead of chasing them across different tools.

The Challenge
A leading logistics provider faced severe operational bottlenecks due to fragmented tracking across their carrier networks, load dispatches, and financial workflows. Critical metrics, such as carrier lane health, load rejection rates, and trailer detention aging were isolated in disparate systems.
This lacked centralized visibility, causing delayed decision-making, unmanaged late reasons, and manual reporting overhead across business units.
The Solution
Over a 3-year strategic partnership, we designed and implemented a centralized Reporting Portal that consolidates multi-departmental data into a unified, interactive BI ecosystem.
We developed and deployed over 70 custom reports and dashboards organized into three core operational verticals:
- Business Performance: Built executive views tracking Gross Sales Impact (Projected vs. Invoiced), Lane Health (Client & Carrier Top 5 KPIs), RFP Line Haul Analysis, and L10 Scorecards covering Financial and Service KPIs.
- Operational Intelligence: Created real-time tracking for Loads (Rejections, Surge Reports), Carrier Performance (Allocation, Active Carriers, Earliest Pickups), On-Time Service (Inbound, Transit Times, OTS Rankings, Late Reasons), and daily operations anomalies.
- Accounting & Asset Tracking: Integrated specialized reporting for asset management, including Trailer Detention Aging Analysis and Empty Date Missing tracking to protect margins.
The Results
The unified Reporting Portal provided full end-to-end transparency across the client’s supply chain. This centralized visibility optimized load distribution, improved carrier accountability, and empowered leadership to make data-backed operational and financial decisions.
